I built an app to help contractors and small business usedaybook.com
Daybook runs the whole job for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing crews. Estimate, schedule, dispatch, invoice, get paid, all in one place instead of five apps and a notebook. The office works on the web; techs get a phone app that keeps working with no signal. Free on iPhone and Android. 14-day trial, no card.
Daybook is business software for residential contractors, built for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing crews. It runs the whole job in one place, from the first call to the money in the bank: estimates, scheduling, job tracking, invoices and card payments, with nothing retyped between the steps. The office works in a browser, and technicians get their own phone app that shows their day, clocks them in and out, and attaches notes and photos to the job. That field app keeps working with no signal and syncs once the tech is back in coverage, which is the difference between a real tool and a bookmark when you're in a basement or a crawlspace. It's free on iPhone and Android, every plan includes every feature, and the 14-day trial doesn't ask for a card.
