My project board has a list named after my own bottleneck. It works.
My 4DUX board: Now, Next, Waiting on Kirill, Done. That third list is my best productivity tool — because it's embarrassing. Every founder is their own bottleneck: approvals, decisions, the email they won't write. Naming it after yourself makes the bottleneck visible; cards stop rotting in vague "blocked" and sit accusing you politely. Cleared oldest-first, no new cards until empty. Systems beat intentions — but only the ones you're slightly ashamed of. What would your bottleneck list be called?

The 4DUX Trello board has four lists: Now, Next, Waiting on Kirill, Done. That third list is the most important productivity tool I own — not despite being embarrassing, but because of it. Every founder is their own bottleneck on something: approvals, decisions, the email they won't write. Naming the list after yourself makes the bottleneck visible instead of ambient. Cards don't rot in a vague "blocked" — they sit in a list with your name on it, accusing you politely. I clear it the way you'd clear a debt: oldest first, no new cards until it's empty. Systems beat intentions, but only the systems you're slightly ashamed of. The pretty dashboards never changed my behavior; the list with my name on it did. What would your bottleneck list be called?
